Transformation of an area must be carefully measured with regional context, but implemented at human scale in order to positively influence a community.
Villages of Urbana
The Historic District of Urbana has many cultural treasures, the Stancioff/Landon House, the Many-Makes-One or Albaugh House, the Elisha Beall House, the Boyer House and the Smith Store/Tucker House. These homes near Urbana Pike, mostly built in the early to mid 19th century, are of critical importance to the historic fabric of the original village. The adjacent new development for the Villages of Urbana was phased and planned to respect this district and reflects the traditional architecture and town planning techniques.
