Germantown is a planned corridor city in Montgomery County, Maryland. It is bisected by and is a part of the Interstate 270 Technology Corridor. The eastern sides of the corridor, at the Father Hurley Boulevard Interchange, include nearly 1,000 acres of mixed-use development known as the Milestone Properties.

Rodgers Consulting played a primary role on the consultant team starting with early master planning of the properties in the mid-1980s. Our specific involvement has included planning, civil engineering, environmental planning and surveying for a vast majority of the area. Work on this project included preparation of material necessary for submission to GSA for consideration of this site for FDA consolidation.
